Dedicated to the memory of Gregory De La Pena-Hall

Cancer is a slow, debilitating disease but with the constant support and specialist services offered by hospice care, the burden is eased and managed both to those suffering and their loved ones with person centred care being at the heart of everything they do. This, coupled with the fact that hospice centres play an important role in helping patients to come out of the trauma during the advanced stages of cancer makes it an integral part of good quality end of life care.

We have witnessed firsthand, the work of St. Joseph’s hospice; their incredible expertise and kindness towards Greg, which involved symptom management, as well as support for myself both physically and mentally.

In Gregory’s honour, we would like you to support the wonderful team at SJH so that they can continue to provide life changing supportive care to many others and their families. SJH provides contact to over 18,000 people in East London, with over 50,000 calls being made by volunteers throughout the year.

People may not remember what you looked like, but they will always remember how you made them feel.

Gregory was, and will always be loved and remembered.
